Friends of Scouting update:

All units need to have their 2012 FOS Family presentation dates to Jim Meyer.  A good time to get it to Jim is at the January Round Table.  Also, there will be In-district training sessions for FOS Family @ 6:45pm, in front of the January Round Table.

MEMBERSHIP  -   Fall Recruitment Events

   Pack Goal – Each pack has a recruit-focused event inviting boys in grades K-4.
 

   Troop Goal – Cross over webelos and have a recruit-focused event inviting boys in grades 5-8.

Two for the Team, our District team would like to encourage all Troops and Crews to recruit TWO new members by the end of the year.  Share Scouting with 2 new youth!!!!!

Adult Applications

Adult applications should be signed by the applicant in TWO places: On the form itself with all the data filled in and On the page with approval for the Criminal Background Check. Adult Applications are APPROVED by the Unit Committee Chairman and the Chartered Organization Representative. IMPORTANT: All New Adult registrations (volunteers who have never been registered EVER) need to submit their registration form with a Proof of Completion card or certificate Verifying their Completion of BSA `Youth Protection Training`. This training can be taken: *on-line via http://www.MyScouting.org. at your convenience OR *within a unit in group session via DVD led by a commissioner or unit member who has Successfully completed the course.
